They're trying to provoke us. Let's not take the bait. As you say, don't waste your breath. It's a new school of journalism that says, "we can't be arsed to think of anything original to write about music, so what can we do? A list, yeah, that should be easy. But let's not spend too much time on it; if we make it really shoddy, perhaps that will increase the chances of our readers being provoked and doing our work for us?"
