The last time Dean appeared in this series I rushed off to the Puma website to try and buy his shoes (now that’s the dedication of a fan). I do rather like these white shoes but they are white and I don’t think I can pull that off ( I don’t think many people can pull off white footwear!)

So this time I’m not as inspired to walk in the shoes of my hero.

To be honest I do have a problem with Dean and his white things - I’m not that keen on seeing him holding a white guitar and as for the white jeans he wears far too often (shudder)…

This is Naomi’s second appearance in this series, and second time wearing boots although these cool buckle-y boots are a little cooler than last times wellies…

She was wearing daintier little strappy heels at the Albert Hall but I couldn’t find any decent pics, and she does seem to wear these great clodhoppers more often (as can be seen a little clearer in this rather odd picture).

I like these shoes - like the photo they were black and white and I fancied hunting a pair down for myself - but maybe getting shoes like Dean Wareham might be taking the fan thing just a little bit far…

I was looking for pictures of Britta wearing those knee high boots she seems to wear quite often - most notably in all the promo shots for Back Numbers. But then I came across this sweet picture of Britta wearing some sweet strappy heely sandals (I’m sure this type of shoe has a name but as this series progresses it’s clear that my knowledge of footwear is very limited). They have heels and they have straps - and despite that they look comfortable - and much nicer than knee highs which have never really been my thing!

I’m annoyed that I managed to forget my camera last night and never got my own pic of Mark’s feet so I was relieved to find that someone else was kind enough to snap this shot at a previous Shepherds Bush show (Oh how I’d have loved to see him at the Bush Hall). I suspect these are the very same comfortable looking boots he wore last night…

Given Lou Reed’s penchant for mullets, sleeveless T-shirts and ugly tinted glasses I was a bit apprehensive of hunting down his footwear of choice. I’m not sure what I imagined he’d wear but…actually he’s probably always been cool from the waist down.
